Halloween Costumes

My friend and I were supposed to go out last Sunday to shop for Halloween costumes but we decided to call it off cause the weather is not as pretty as we would like it to be. It’s the 30th of September already and I am still thinking of what costume I would like to get for my son in this year’s trick or treating. To be honest, he does care about his costume but he’s more excited in collecting as many candies as he can. :)

Anyway, since I don’t have the chance to go to the store yet, I decided to browse on the internet for halloween costumes so I will have more idea which is popular this year. The site that I spent most looking is halloweenadventure.com. Instead of going to the store, I'd probably buy my son's costume on this site. They have everything from Harry Potter Costumes, which I believe are very popular with kids and teens alike, to Holiday, Disney, Movies, Couples Costumes and so much more. My husband and I don’t go to Halloween parties but if we were to choose a costume, we’d probably go with the funny adult costumes like the Bacon & Eggs. I love bacon and he loves eggs, perfect match huh. :)

Before I forget, I’d like to share with you this Coupon Code: PPP05BLOG2008 to get 5% off TILL OCTOBER 10th, 2008 and for more news in the costume industry, check out http://blog.halloweenadventure.com.

I Fell Asleep

Wow! I fell asleep and just woke up. Thankfully I still have much time to write about the opportunity that I reserved last night. Another bummer if I didn't wake up on time. But I need to hurry up and do this so I can go back to bed, I can barely keep my eyes open. I really need to get some more sleep. I have been lacking so much sleep lately, blame Winster. Ha!

Discounted AC Parts

It is getting pretty chilly here and I know we would not be needing auto air conditioner. But in case you are in the state where it is still hot, you should check your air conditioning compressor every so often. You don’t want to be caught up traveling in a hot weather with a car air conditioning that is not working. Believe me I have experienced that and it’s not pretty. Anyways, if you need a/c compressor, evaporators, driers or expansion devices, you can get it at discountacparts.com. They have large selection of A/C compressors and other parts; offer free shipping on all orders and offers full warranty on every auto a/c parts they sell. I’ll be using this site in the future as my sister, who lives in the Philippines, is asking me to canvass a new air conditioner for her car. She said her A/C is used to the max because it is hot there all year round. Again, if you are looking for compressors whether it’s BMW or Mercedes AC compressor, visit discountacparts.com.

Unbelievable!

I was blog hopping yesterday and stopped by at Aling Juls' blog for a while cause one of her posts caught my attention. The post..."What Would Simon Cowell Say About You?". I took the short quiz and I was absolutely shocked of the result :) Totally unbelievable! I guess I ought to say, I love you Simon! Yaiks! har har har!

Biking By The Lake

These are my two boys… biking by the Lake Michigan in Chicago last July. I was the one who took the picture, kind of left behind cause I was walking. I didn’t have and still don’t have a bike. Why? My hubby didn’t feel like getting my bike from my MIL’s house. That’s a bummer! I was just able to keep up with them a little bit cause my son was still a bit slow in pedaling. I know hubby didn’t feel like getting my bike from his mom’s house and I don’t bug him anymore about it because I want one of those beach bikes that I’ve been telling him about for the longest.

Anyways, here’s the photo of the beach bike I’ve always wanted to have. He can still get it for me cause fall is still a good time to go biking by the lake.

I like this one very much... so cute!

First Time

I've been living here in the South Suburb of Chicago for a year now and I just found out today that there's a Filipino Store close by. It's located in Steger, Illinois which is like 25 minutes away from where I am. This is a bit closer than than the one in Schererville, Indiana. The name of the store is Asia's Best Oriental Store. I bought one of those Mang Tomas All Purpose Sauce, which is my fave and my son's too, I got some Oishi prawn crackers, a bottle of fish sauce and a can of Butter Cookies. I was looking for some "butong pakwan" (watermelon seeds) but they don't have it. Maybe next time.

After that, Che and Ash, had dinner in our house. For the first time, hubby was able to spend time with us coz usually when Che and Ash are here, he's always at work or some place else. He enjoyed playing with the kids. They played board games like Monopoly and Sorry, then played Nicktoons video games while me and Che were at the dinner table chatting. They went home around 9:30. All in all it was a great day! We all had a wonderful time.

No Brainer Blinds

The last time I bought blinds for our kitchen window, I measured it incorrectly so I had to redo everything from measuring it and going back to the store to exchange the said window blinds. Since I’m thinking of buying a couple of more blinds for the window down in the basement, I don’t want to go through that hassle again. This time I’d like to use NoBrainerBlinds. Why NoBrainerBlinds? Because their website offers a short video and some illustrations on how to get precise measurements of your windows, how to install it and even get a home decorating advice from their experts. Free samples, 110% low price guarantee and free shipping are also being offered. With this kind of deal, you can’t ask for more.

TV Character Tag

I got this amazing tag from Aling Juls :) She probably knows that I am a t.v. addict. I watch t.v. probably 20 hours a day :D I really do. My computer monitor is like 10 inches away from the television. So when I am doing my job you will see me typing and watching at the same time... yeah believe it or not I can multi-task :D

Anyways, here are some of my fave television shows (the tag calls for two but I did 3 ehehehe)...

*begin copy here*
  1. Take some Personality Quiz here. At least 2 (two) of it.
  2. Post the result on your blog and then leave a comment here so that I can add it to a Which TV Shows Character Are You? master list.
  3. Pass this tag to a blogger who you think watch a TV Shows. OR, if you interested in having fun, just include yourself in.
  4. Update the list on your post regularly to ensure everybody gets equal link benefit.

Which TV Shows Character Are You?
1. Snapshotcap 2. Azlan 3. My so-called Life 4.Pinay WAHM 5. Roselle's Sweet Escape

*end copy here*

Now who am I gonna tag? hmmm... How about Red, Jhona, Eds, and Aling Tikya. Have Fun!

Dragon Naturally Speaking

I have been doing data entry works at home for over 2 ½ years now and doing blogging for over a year. That’s a lot of typing I tell you that, and I think I’m beginning to develop a carpal tunnel syndrome. Sure those wrist cushions, wraps, or gloves would be a great help but I am thinking of other solution like this Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred. I have heard this in the past but didn’t pay any attention to it. Now, I think I need to.

Anyways, Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred is a type of software that will let you talk on your computer microphone and literally types it for you word for word, even the punctuation marks. I know I can type as fast as 85 words per minute but my talking is definitely quicker than that. This software will make my work easier to accomplish every time and less stressful on my wrists.

Who can benefit from this software? A lot of business owners for one. Then regular people like me who likes to blog a lot, surf the Internet, also, those who uses Microsoft Word, Outlook, AOL and Internet Explorer etc. By the way, investing in Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred is not bad at all because it would only cost you about $199.00, the package includes a high-quality headset, so all you got to do is take it out of the box, install and you’re ready to go. But if you have a headset already, you can get the Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Standard by all means.

Finally!

After waiting for almost a month, I finally got the check that I've been waiting for. At least one of them. Still waiting for a couple more. It's not really a lot, but heck! I worked for it so I deserve to get it on time. I am not sure what's going on with this company. They use to pay us really really good and a year ago the rate just got lower and lower and started sending out our checks kinda late. Well, I am just so thankful that I got my check, which let me know that at least they are not shutting down (crossing fingers).

Get Organized!

I am not sure if you guys remember me mentioning my interest in buying a DYMO Labelmaker. I have been wanting to do that so I can organize my files of current bills, bills that needs to be paid in the next month and so on. In addition, I’d like to put in order my son’s artworks, label my entire scrapbook and cross stitch materials and so much more. However, I can’t buy it still cause I have not received the check from my data entry job. I am not sure why they are so late in sending those checks. They usually come like clock work. I guess they are affected too by our deteriorating economy.

Anyways, since I am so enthusiastic in having one of those DYMO Labelmaker, I think what I am going to do is to borrow some cash from my dearest hubby. I am sure he wouldn’t mind lending me some (I hope ehehehe). Cause I am telling you this Dymo can be a lot of use for mommies like me. Not only we can label and organize our kids’ schoolbooks, notebooks, art materials and lunch boxes, we can also use it around the house in organizing our kitchens to reduce clutter, our home offices and most specially our children’s bedroom. I am sure it would always come in handy.

Munchkins

I am not sure what's got into me because lately, I've been doing a lot of cooking, baking and stuff. I guess it's because of the good feeling of being appreciated by my two boys :) The other day, I made some "munchkins". I actually saw it from Giada de Laurentiis in Food Network. I used the left-over from my pizza dough. I don't have a powdered sugar in hand so I used Swiss Miss to coat the munchkins. As always the little boy loved it. He popped it in his mouth one after the other.

Postcard Printing

Earlier today, we visited my friend in the office where she’s currently working. I noticed that there are tons of files and work that needs to be done and she really was so busy, so I jokingly said if they are hiring an Admin. Assistant cause I am available. She sadly said, we are actually laying people off cause the business is slow. Other than our messed up economy, one of the reasons that she thought why their business is slow is because of their marketing strategy. She showed me some of their brochures and business cards and I think they are unnoticeable. It’s like if there were a pile of business cards or postcards out there, you wouldn’t notice theirs.

Anyways, since I am on the internet all the time and have seen so many websites on how to improve business sales etc. I think I offered her a good suggestion by telling that they need their business card, brochures and postcards perked up to get attention from prospective clients. I mentioned Vista Print and how they are making high-quality graphic designs and offers Postcard Printing other custom printing and that very affordable for everyone. I told her that all she has to do is to get online, and Vista Print can create their business cards, stationery, postcards or brochures, hence, she can also create her own design and can get it in as little as 3 days. She was so interested in doing that so I gave her the coupon code PC50 to get a 50 Free Oversized Postcards. That’s an awesome deal for her to not take advantage.

Clixsense Payment

I got my second payment from Clixsense. Yey! :) I love getting checks. Clixsense by the way is a PTC or Paid To Click site. You get paid by clicking ads. I forgot to post my first payment so here's the second one. It may not be a lot but hey! Every little thing counts.

Personalized Holiday Cards

Holiday season is fast approaching whether we like it or not. I am a big procrastinator on just about anything, which includes buying presents or sending cards to loved ones and friends. This year I’d like to do it differently. I know it’s only September, but I’d like to prepare and start early in buying gifts and holiday cards so I won’t be forgetting anyone just like last year. I felt bad when I forgot to send a Christmas card to one of my good friends back in PI. This time she will be the first in my list. I am planning to purchase Personalized Holiday cards for this holiday season, which reminds me of the website GalleryCollection.com. I just checked it out and right now they are offering a 40% discount.

Other than having exquisite collections of greeting cards for all occasion and great discounts, Gallery Collection also supports our troops overseas. Yes, they are supporting our troops buy donating about 180,000 personalized holiday cards through an organization called Soldier’s Angels, who’s credo is “May no soldier go unloved”. They have done this last year and doing again this year. What a great way to show our troops that we care, and we thank them for protecting and defending our country. I am sure they will feel loved and remembered this coming Christmas and New Year.

He Loves It!

Below is the photo of the coconut macaroons that I baked yesterday. My son loved it so much that after I gave him a little taste of it, he just grabbed one after another. I just stopped him coz he'd lose his appetite for dinner. This is just an easy bake. Will post the recipe later on. It doesn't look good but it sure taste good. :)

High Quality Gemstones And Pearls

I was so amaze to find out that there are a lot of fellow bloggers out there who create lovely pieces of jewelries. I found this out through EntreCard dropping. There’s this one lady who created a very beautiful set of pearl jewelries (earrings, ring and a necklace). It was totally gorgeous! Seeing her creations inspire me to try and make custom pearl jewelries myself. I love pearls because of how elegant and classic looking they are, also it is my birthstone (June).

Anyways, I know it would cost me a fortune if I’d buy the materials from somewhere here, so I decided to look up for sites that offer high quality and yet reasonably priced freshwater pearls and gemstone beads. The one that interests me the most is Beads of Cambay. It seems like an outstanding resource for high quality gemstone beads and freshwater pearls that offers a wholesale discount of up to 30%. They also provide customers with the latest market trends from the newest stones, colors and shapes. I would think they are particularly prominent to all jewelry designers and beading aficionados because of their wholesale gemstone beads prices.

I enjoyed browsing their website. For the most part, I’m attracted and seriously thinking of buying some of their baroque, button centered drilled, and coin side drilled freshwater pearls.

My First Pizza

I have been wanting to make a pizza since my husband complained about the pizza that I bought from the store. He said it's so paper thin (eventhough it's not a thin crust pizza) and there's not a lot of cheese. There are few brands that sell a pretty decent pizza, but its too expensive. So yesterday while I was at the grocery store, I decided to get all the ingredients that I needed. Bought some flour, 4 types of cheese (Mozzarella, Provolone, Mild Cheddar & Parmesan) and some mushrooms and green peppers.

Today I decided to make it since hubby is here. I found an easy dough recipe from the internet and incorporated it to some others to make it simpler.

Here's the dough recipe (no yeast by the way, that's why I like it)

4 c. flour
6 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. milk
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. sugar (this is not in the original recipe, just added it)

Pour oil and milk mixture over flour mixture. Mix with fork. Shape into ball, knead until smooth. Roll out on greased cookie sheet. Top with favorite sauce and toppings. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.

Toppings:

Pizza Sauce (but I used spaghetti sauce, added my secret ingredient)
Mozzarella
Provolone
Parmesan
Mild Cheddar
Green Peppers
Mushrooms

Or you can use any toppings of your choice.

Photos:

this is a quarter of an inch thick but did rise to like an inch when cooked
so, you can probably cut it in half to make two pizza crusts...
by the way, spread some olive oil before putting the sauce

just plain spaghetti sauce with my secret ingredient :)

before it hit the oven

fresh from the oven

my first piece...yumm-o!

Hubby said it was so delicious! However, I will make few changes the next time. I will split the dough into two to make two pizza crusts. Then will put more mushrooms and green peppers. And lastly, will bake it a little longer probably up to 25-30 minutes instead of 15-20. (This depends on your oven's temperature)

Memory Foam Mattress

For the past couple of days, my husband has been asking me to massage his neck and shoulders. He said he’s not sure why it’s kind of sore; he’s guessing that it’s either because of the bed or the couch. Yeah every now and then he’d fall asleep on the couch while watching television. Anyways, he suspects that it’s our bed. We had our bed for about 8 years now and he’s thinking that it’s time for us to get a new one. He’s thinking of getting a new mattress, not just the traditional spring form mattress but a memory foam mattress for that matter. Why memory foam? First off, it is a longer lasting mattress, secondly, no horrible pressure points like in the spring form; third, less discomfort when you wake up in the morning and of course the guarantee of always having quality sleeps. At this point, we are looking at OvernightMattress.com cause their summer sale is about to end so we are trying to hurry up and decide which one we want to get. We are strongly considering them because they offer a zero risk 120-night mattress trial, a 100% refund and would even pay for the return shipping. So we’ve got nothing to loose. We’ll see what hubby has decided on.

Train Wreck

This is my kuletz collection of Thomas & Friends... he got a little angry earlier when he can't properly put together the train tracks... it looks like a train wreck to me. It's all over the place.

Credit Card Processing

Everyday, there are new versions of computer software, electronic games, cellular phones etc. It just keeps getting better and better. And I can’t believe that one time, I was browsing on the Internet and found out that nowadays you can even do credit card processing using your cellphone. Amazing isn’t it? But I’m telling you there are merchants that still don’t accept credit cards. I just wish they knew how easy it is to get a merchant account, a low cost and hassle-free solution so they can start accepting credit cards. Merchant Advisors for example. They offer a 30-day free trial, no annual fee, no long-term contracts and they even give a free terminal so the merchants can start credit card processing ASAP. The Hungry Hound

Last night I put my son to bed around 11 p.m. then I sat down in front of my computer. I closed my bedroom door a little bit so he can't see the television. He was quiet, thought he was asleep already, but then after about 30 minutes or so I heard a slight banging in the kitchen, I know it was not my hubby coz he was in his office watching t.v. I checked it and saw my little kuletz doing this:

How time flies huh... I used to give him milk in a bottle, now he can prepare his own midnite snack :) One of his favorites is the PB&J sandwich.

GPS Tracking System

For me GPS is one of the best inventions in today’s world. Why? Cause not only you will be able to get to where you are going without getting lost, you will also be able to get there in less time, which means saving your energy and gas. But how would you like to track someone or anything using a GPS Tracking system? You think that’s not possible? Think again cause in this computer age, anything is possible. I’d suggest you visit LiveViewGPS.com to learn more about it.

Thanks Ike!

I am so tired today. I had to clean up our basement cause we had a little water down there. Thanks to hurricane Ike. It has been raining on and off for the past few days. The other day the water started to crawl in our basement. I thought the rain wasn't so bad cause it was not really a heavy nor continues one. Thus, I got so surprised when I was watching the news and saw the damages it did in other areas, which some are really, really close to our spot.

According to the news, Little Calumet River overflowed. I felt bad about myself cause while I was cleaning (just mopped the floor and dried it up) the basement, I was complaining when I should be thankful for what we have is nothing compared to other people's houses. Upon seeing that disaster on t.v., I said a little prayer for those who are affected and thank Him for we were not one of them. At least my basement is all cleaned up now while the others are still waiting for the water to recede before they can actually start cleaning up.

For Michael Phelps Phans

Last night I almost forgot that it's Michael Phelps guest appearance in Saturday Night Live. Thankfully I was watching Law & Order on NBC and saw the advertisement. Wew! Almost missed it again. Anyways, here are some of it. I like the spoof of the T-Mobile commercial. :)

Great Career Option

Is there a time that you are sitting in your desk and then just thinking of changing a career cause the one you got is getting boring and boring everyday? Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I used to contemplate on that thing myself. I know I’m not the only one, cause just like today, my friend is complaining about how she gets tired of her job, doing the same routine everyday, dealing with cranky customers and being hassled by supervisors. She wanted to shift her career to something else. Since she mentioned it, I brought the topic of getting a fitness certification, which I heard pays well and allows a person to balance their work and family. This is excellent for all health and fitness-minded moms (like my friend) who wishes to get a career that has great time flexibility. The good thing about getting a personal trainer certification other than having an online/home exam study option is, it would only cost you about $600 and takes 3-4 months to finish. That means after that, you can start earning good money, have fun doing it and the most important thing is you will stay fit. If this interests you and would like to learn more about it, visit issaonline.com.

I Missed It!

I posted yesterday about how I can't wait to see Charise Pempengco on The Oprah Show. Heck! I forgot about it and slept my butt till 1o:30 in the morning. Darn! Good thing Oprah is gonna be re-aired a bit later around 11:00 CST :) That one I'm not gonna miss :)

P.S. Forgot to mention... Michael Phelps was on Jay Leno's show last night.. thanks to my hubby :D

Lapband Surgery

My two boys here (hubby and son) and myself just got in from the grocery store. Geez I’m telling you everything is expensive. But I like the weather today. Anyways, when I got home one of my friends left me an instant message asking if I know or heard of a surgery called lapband houston. I sent her a message telling that I know a bit of it. Told her that it is a surgery that’s adjustable and totally reversible. I suggested a website to her called Journeylite wherein the surgeons are specialists when it comes to this kind of surgery. I’m looking forward to hearing from her again.

Oprah's Season Premiere Week

I woke up so early that I got the chance to watch the season premiere of The Oprah show this morning. Her guests today, of course, my fave Michael Phelps, Nastia Lukin , Dara Torres and over 175 Olympic Stars of the Team USA! It was awesome! Can't believe I missed it. It was held in Chicago's Millennium Park, which is like 20 minutes away from where I am. Darn! By the way, David Cook was there also.

Tomorrow, her guest is gonna be Charise Pempengco. As they said, her dream comes true right before our eyes. Can't wait for that! :) Watch the sneak peak at Oprah.com.

CallerBase

I am a work at home mommy and I spend a lot of time working at night after I put my boy to sleep. I’d normally go to sleep around 4 a.m. and would wake up around 10 or 11 in the morning. But how annoying it could get when you’re in the middle of your sleep then the phone rings, number is unfamiliar to you, still you’d pick up the call yet no one’s gonna answer on the other line? I have experienced that countless times and I am tired of it! I believe most of them are telemarketers. I’ve also gotten some prank calls either early in the morning or late at night. It really is aggravating at times.

Since we are currently living in the world of advanced technology, tracing an unknown or a particular number is now possible. How? By doing reverse phone lookups using CallerBase.com. This way, you’d have an idea who’s been calling you or even trace those unfamiliar numbers on either your regular or cellular phone bills. The service is available for U.S. and Canada phone subscribers and 100% totally confidential. So avoid being harassed again, visit CallerBase.com for more info.

Saturday

Saturday is my not so favorite day because all my favorite shows are off. However, today is different because "House, M.D." marathon is on! Yippee!! All I can say is that Hugh Laurie rocks! :) The most annoying, antisocial maverick doctor, Gregory House. :) Oki doki folks! I'm off for right now. Will check back here later. Have a great weekend!

Merchant Cash Advance

The goal of every business you could imagine is, of course, to be successful and keep going and going, as they know that there’s always room to expand. I am sure even the most successful business asks for financial help to assist their growth events. A lot of companies would resort to getting business loans, however, some believe that business loans would root to an intense tension on the business. Hence, there are other options business owners can exercise. For one, is what they call merchant cash advance. This can be used to expand your business, move to a new location, or purchase equipments, etc. It is a loan against your business’s future credit card sales. And if you are considering business cash advance, which is also known as merchant cash advance, by the way, the best place to shop is to check Merchant Advisors thru onlinecheck.com. Why choose them? Because you can obtain approval within 24 hours, you get 7% payback, no collateral required, no application fees, no hidden fees, no personal liability, and it may also be a tax deductible plus poor credit is not a problem. Applying is as easy as 1-2-3. Do it online or you may call them anytime at 1-800-427-1450.

EntreCard

I have registered with EntreCard a while back, but unfortunately, I didn’t have much time to check it out so I’d know how it works. Today, I had the chance of doing that. I finally get the chance to download an image and got the chance to dropped by to as much blog as I can. However, I’m still lost on how does it really work. If you have any tips, please, please, share it with me. Thanks in advance.

All Natural Supplements

We all know that in order for us to feel and look good, regular exercise and having a well-balanced diet is the key. However, this is easier said than done. Sometimes even if we do our best to do everything we can to have a healthy body, it seems not enough. Why is that? Some of the reasons why our body doesn’t get all the nutrients it needs is, for one, poor digestion, then there’s stress, food allergies, also smoking and alcohol. How do we deal with it? Many doctors suggest that adding supplements to our diet helps ensure that our body gets all the nutrients it needs. I believe that Care Nutrition -- Supplements That Doctors Trust would be a smart choice. They only use the finest ingredients in all of their supplements. Most of it are actually natural and never uses artificial colors or preservatives. For more info about their all-natural supplement products, please read the press release below:

Carpal Tunnel Relief

I am a bit worried lately cause I feel like I am developing to having carpal tunnel syndrome. I have been feeling this a few months after I got my work at home job, which is data entry. I didn’t really pay much attention to the pain in my hands cause I thought it’s just because I do a lot of keying. For all of you who have not heard of the term carpal tunnel syndrome, it is actually a pain or somewhat a tingling sensation on your hands due to pressure on the median nerve of the wrist.

Since mine is just starting, I did a little research and thankfully there are things I can do that would give me a carpal tunnel relief. Some tips I have read is that, rest my wrist a little bit longer than usual in between activities. Ice my wrists for at least 10-15 minutes once or twice in an hour. I can also do some exercises to keep my fingers and wrists from getting stiff or numb. And I think the very best treatment I have read to somehow get a carpal tunnel relief is to wear a wrist splint or better yet an IMAK SmartGlove (picture shown below). This serves as a cushion, which would protect the underside of the wrists, increases comfort and truly helps prevent and relieve carpal tunnel syndrome. This is something worth buying, at least for me, cause I hate taking medications. Knowing I can treat my carpal tunnel syndrome without taking any pill is a big relief. For more info about the SmartGlove or any other IMAK products, visit imakproducts.com.

Michael Phelps Is Here !

Yup! Michael Phelps is here... not in my house though ehehehe. He's here in Chicago (technically, I don't live in Chicago anymore, but still feels like it cause I'm 10 steps away from it :d ) Anyhow, Phelps is really here as well as the 150 or 175 american athletes from the Beijing Olympics. They are gonna be on the Oprah show that is why. Oprah gave them some kind of welcome back party. I know Phelps is gonna be here but don't really know when, and found out on the news that they arrived today. He even gave a surprise visit in one of swimming classes in the west side of Chicago. Heck if I only knew, I would have dragged my husband to see him in the dowtown Chicago :)

Consolidate Debt

Let’s face it, our economy as it is right now, a lot of us are struggling to pay our bills from light, gas, phone, to credit card bills. Sometimes we just don’t feel like going to the mailbox anymore because we know that all we would see is either another bill that’s currently due or the final notice itself. And once in a while we can’t even stand to check the balance on our bank account. That sure is a horrible feeling. I know how it feels.

Anyway, no matter how swarmed and stressed us cause of these seemingly endless bills, debts, etc., no need to stress yourself even more because there are solutions wherein we can reduce everything to minimum. First off, we need to cut our spending habits (I’m working on this one myself). Always search for good deals, use coupons when grocery shopping, and if you think you can’t handle paying your credit card bills or any other bills, why not seek help to consolidate debt? There are a lot of companies out there that would help you find an organization that will consolidate your debts effectively. One I have in mind is bills.com. They can explain to you the variations of debt consolidation such as debt management, debt settlement or credit card counseling and so as helping you choose the right one for you. Bills.com will also give you resources to help you save money. How about that for great service huh?

Murder, She Wrote And Monk Marathon

Hey all! How's your Labor Day? As for us here, we just stayed home and relaxed. I’ve been watching Murder, She Wrote and Monk marathon alternately. Then doing some work while watching television (yup! Imagine that! Work on Labor Day yipeee!!) Then hubby grilled some chicken, I cooked some side dishes and we had an early dinner. Now we are relaxing a little bit more. We decided not to go out, coz first; its too hot outside, plus all the picnic areas are surely full packed. We’re thinking of going on a picnic either tomorrow or Wednesday, I’m sure everybody’s back to work and we will have the picnic area by ourselves ehehehe. Anyways, hubby won’t be back to work till Friday. We still have plenty of time :)
