Getting On My Nerves

Oh Geez! These students are surely getting on my last freaking nerves! How in the world would you complain to me telling me I made a mistake in checking your darn papers, when you know that you did not really study that's why you got those flunking grades! I did not make up those grades! You did! I just merely checked them! darn it! You better get yourselves together people! You know when you enrolled in this school that this is a fast paced course, so you better study!

Ok I'm done venting :) Have a good one everybody!

Stormy Weather

Goodness gracious! I've been up since 6:30 in the morning. Had to get ready to take my son to school, had to get him ready for school, take him and after that I went to the DMV to renew my license plate. I was so thankful coz there's no line at all. I think I was there for 5 minutes...Just in and out. Unlike last year I had to wait for an hour or so. Anyway, after that I went grocery shopping.! My, oh my! The lines at the store were veryyyyy longggggg!!! I went to three stores actually.. Don't ask me why lol...But yeah, I think the people did panic about the blizzard. Yup.. actually it started snowing around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, just when I'm about to pick up my son from school. It was very windy too! Couldn't open my eyes while walking to the car. It is still going right now. We're expecting about 18-20 inches of snow... they even said, about 24 inches. So be careful out there everyone! Stay safe!

Check Out Victor®

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Victor Pest. All opinions are 100% mine.

One of the reasons why we moved from our old house to our house now is because the old house has mice in the basement and in the garage! That basement was actually a place for my son to play and that’s where we also watch television and just hang out. We immediately called one of the most famous pest control company to get rid of those mice. But, guess what? I was very disappointed because they did not do a good job and we paid a lot of money for their service. First of all, I believed they use those rat poisons, which is not safe for my son, who’s at that time was 2 years old. Secondly, dead mice where all over the place! Of course, I had to get rid of it, which is unsafe for my health sake. Who would want to touch a dead mouse? Not me!

Anyway, if you are having that same problem, please, do a little research on which company you will call for help. Or, if you want to be on the safe side, might as well call Victor®. Victor® is a company that specializes in rodent control. They offer products for rodent problems that are very efficient and non-toxic, which is safe for you, your kids and for your pets. They also have electronic traps and electronic pest control devices. You can visit them at victor.com if you are interested to know more. I believe they are having a promotion right now for the Victor® Protect Your Space Combo Kit for $99.99 and with FREE shipping. I bet no other company can beat that so check it out!

Surprised !

I am supposed to start my new job on February 7, but early this afternoon, my new boss called me and said, I need to come in tomorrow at 9 a.m. Wow! That was a surprised. It is not my regular hours however. It is just part of the orientation so I'll be more familiar with the new office, files, info, etc. On Feb. 7, I need to be there at 8:30, which is like a stretch, because I need to drop off my son at school at 8:15.. so I have 15 minutes eheheheh hopefully no red lights and no traffic :)

Orientation

The orientation went well. It's an easy job, however, there's a lot of info that I needed to know because one of my duties is to answer inquiries. Anyway, my new boss said, that everyday is a different story so I don't have to sweat it. Actually, I'm familiar with some of the info already. Another orientation day on Friday. It's a bit slow because they are in the process of moving to a new place, which is much bigger.

I Resigned

It's Monday and I am not going to work! Yay! :) Well, actually I resigned from my job. Friday was my last day. I like my job at the daycare, however, it's sometimes overwhelming. On February 7, I'll start my new job. It is for the school where I took my CNA course. I will be working in their office as an Admin. Assistant. Same hours, same pay, less one day of work and definitely less stressful! :) Orientation is Wednesday, let's see how it goes :)

TABASCO® Original Red, Yum !

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TABASCO® Original Red. All opinions are 100% mine.

As I have mentioned in some of my previous posts, my sister visited us from Egypt and stayed here for over two weeks. During her stay, she did most of the cooking and cooked a lot of Filipino dishes for me. She is a very good cook I must say that is why I felt like I gained over 20 lbs. already. Anyway, one of my favorites is her version of Chopsuey and grilled pork. It was very good as it is, but she encouraged me to put a little dash of TABASCO® Original Red and I cannot believe that it enhanced the flavor even more! I have used TABASCO® Original Red to my chicken wings and pizza before but never on Chopsuey. It sure was good! Now, I use TABASCO® Original Red on my potato chips as well. Yum! :)

Since Super Bowl is coming up, I will make sure that I have a bottle of TABASCO® Original Red to use for my baked chicken wings and perhaps some pizza and potato chips or for a change, I might check out some of the Game-Day Party Menu or a Pizza Perfected menu at tabasco.com. You should too! I am sure that your entire family will enjoy it while watching the Super Bowl.

Holiday, Yay !

Thank God I don't have to go to work today. It's  Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday, but heck! It's only six o'clock and I am up already...I have been up since 5 a.m. and I tried going back to sleep, but I can't, so I decided to just get up and update my blog. I'd probably go back to sleep after breakfast. I guess I'll talk to you all later! I'm kinda hungry, so I'll see if there's something to eat in the kitchen. :)

Feeling Sad

Today's my sister departure back to Egypt... I'm feeling really sad! I wish she could stay longer or even forever. However, she needs to go back to work. I am sure gonna miss her a lot! Even my son asked her, where she's going and when she said, I'm going home... my son said, "YOU ARE HOME", it makes me wanna cry. I actually managed to hold my tears till she had to check-in :( She promised that she'll be back next year, probably summer time... I'm crossing my fingers coz I miss her already.

Shopping

My sister and I have been going to the mall almost everyday :) I am not shopping though, she is ehehehe... some of her co-workers gave her some money and shopping lists, mostly items from Victoria's Secret. I just found out that there's no Victoria's Secret anywhere in the world but here in the United States. I was surprised actually... I thought there's one at least in England, but she said there's none. That's why she did a lot of shopping there... body sprays, lotions, underwears, cosmetics, etc. We did some shopping at The Body Shop and Bath and Body Works. I bet she will pay at the airport for excess baggage lol... Oh well! :)

Boudreaux's Butt Paste

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux's Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have been working at a daycare center for a little over a year now and I’m enjoying it. I am assigned to work with babies from 6-week olds to 1 year olds. What we do is to educate them, play with them, feed them, put them to sleep when they get tired and of course, change their diapers.

Speaking of diaper changing, we all know that one of the reasons babies get diaper rash is when you do not change them when they get wet. I have seen diaper rash from mild to severe cases. I am telling you it is not fun when the baby has it. Parents would normally bring diaper rash ointment when their babies are suffering from it but most of them do not really work. It’s hard for us, teacher’s assistants, to change the babies because it is very uncomfortable for them as their bottoms/genital areas are itching, and probably has burning sensation. Anyway, we had one baby who had tried different brands of diaper rash ointments and one day her Mom came in and asks us to try another brand called Boudreaux's Butt Paste. She said that her daughter's new pediatrician recommended this one. Honestly, I have never heard that brand before, but after a couple of days use, I have seen a tremendous improvement on her skin. She did not scream and holler again when we change her diaper and her skin started to get back to normal.

All I can say is that Boudreaux’s Butt Paste works and I have been telling my friends about it since. It soothes irritated skin and treats diaper rash, it also protects the baby’s skin. If you would like to try this amazing product, all you have to do is to visit them at www.buttpaste.com to receive your free sample.
