I am upset right now. Don't ask me why because I'm not gonna tell. I can't believe that there are people who would do some things just because they can. Though I'm not gonna sweat it. I still believe in the saying, "what goes around, comes around!" Karma that is!

She Needs Business Cards
I was once at the supermarket waiting in line and met a Filipina living relatively close to where I am residing. The first time we met, I felt comfortable with her already. She’s so funny and very down to earth and so as her husband. We exchanged emails, facebook accounts, phone numbers etc., and been in contact since. Then recently, we bumped into each other again at the same supermarket where we first met. We talked for a while and she told me that she and her husband just opened an online store. She asked me to help her in spreading the link to their online store, so I ask them if they have a business card so I can give it to my friends. She said they do not have a business card yet. They are still in the process of having their custom designed business cards. Anyway, she emailed me the link to their store and asked me to check it out and see how it appeals to me. She wants any feedback/comment on how they could improve the site. The site was simply designed and easy to navigate actually. They are selling accessories for cellphones, gps, and other electronic devices. I bet we will be seeing each other again in the supermarket sometime soon! Lol!
Time Flies
I don't like this... It is Sunday 3:03 pm already... wow! I'm still sleepy! I still feel tired. Thought I will be a bit energized over the weekend, but nah! I had to help my son do his homework, which is by the way overwhelming even for me. Eight pages?! Darn! Oh well, what can I do...

Hampton Chain Of Friends Sweepstakes
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Hampton Hotels. All opinions are 100% mine.
I rarely enter contests, sweepstakes, or the like. However, if the contest is about free weekend stay at any Hampton Hotel is a different story. I would definitely enter their Hampton Chain of Friends Sweepstakes because Hampton Inn (great accommodation and affordable price) is one of our favorite hotels to stay whenever we are going out-of-town or when we would go on a vacation in another state.
Here’s the scoop about the Hampton Chain of Friends Sweepstakes – you are eligible to enter if you are at least 18 years old and living in the 50 states, District of Columbia and Canada (Quebec-not included). Two ways to enter, either you book a stay online (use the code FRIEND or COF) or you can visit their website to complete an entry form without booking a stay (this one is my choice too). This promotion will run from June 1, 2010 – September 4, 2010. You still have plenty of time to enter so better hurry up.
This is very exciting! If I win (crossing my fingers), I’d probably go to the Mall of America (MOA) in Minnesota and I’ll be taking two of my friends. I plan to stay in the Hampton Inn in Woodbury because it is kind of close to where another friend of mine lives and not that far from MOA. I just filled out an entry form and again, I’m crossing my fingers! :)

He Got Excited
Yesterday morning I woke up my son and asked him to take a shower and brush his teeth, put on his uniform and everything. Then after a few minutes he came up my room rushing and was so excited, smiling from ear to ear and exclaimed, "mommy look! i tied my shoes!". I was so happy because I've been teaching him how to do it for a while now and he finally did it. I just taught him how to tie his shoes recently because I bought him the one with shoe laces (all his shoes are those velcro snap ons). Anyway, I'm so proud of him! :)
Tyra is Terrific Television
Written by my friend Dong Wood
I have watched almost every episode of the Tyra Banks show throughout its run. I'm glad it remains in syndication currently as this was and to me, still is, a talkshow that actually had something to talk about. Tyra did something that most talk show hosts did not do. She got real. She talked about herself, her struggles, and connected with the people she brought on her show. Another reason I watched was the fact that she made sure everyone on the show looked fabulous.
From the audience members to the guests everyone seemed to be able to look good and feel good. She did hard hitting stories about the adult industry and beauty related episodes that tried to discover exactly what it was that beauty is really comprised of. I found her topics to be engaging and interesting in a daytime roster filled with shows that are not worth my time.
I have far more channels available to me on my satellite tv than I could possible watch in a day. Sadly, I am constantly under the impression that nothing 'good' is on the direct tv channel guide. Tyra has continually kept that sensation at bay. Whether she was helping teen girls overcome peer pressure, or helping people understand that true beauty is in your words and actions; not just in a pretty face, didn't matter. Tyra kept my attention. Of course, it didn't hurt that she was incredibly gorgeous and I wanted to snuggle her senseless.

My Son's Art
This is my son's drawing. He said it was him fishing at the lake, which is his favorite thing to do this summer (other than riding his bike of course) :) For his age, I thought this one is a pretty good drawing. Very detailed... you see the bait, a fishes, seaweed and I'm impressed how he drew the fishing rod :)

Re-Boost !
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boost Mobile. All opinions are 100% mine.
I have been contemplating for a while now if I would like to switch to a new wireless phone company. Right now, I am not very happy with what I have. The signal is on and off, the caller I.D is sometimes messed up (number wouldn’t come up on the screen, it always say unavailable), then when I am trying to login to facebook, an error is always popping up. Sure, the monthly payment is very affordable, but if the service is poor, it is not even worth it.
So, I am thinking of getting a Blackberry from Boost Mobile. I would like the $60/unlimited plan. I am considering the unlimited plan because I use my phone a lot to check my emails, instant message, text my friends and of course, to update my facebook account when I am away from my computer. It also has unlimited nationwide calling. I know with other companies, you will have to pay extra for these features, which would probably cost an arm and a leg! Speaking of payment, Boost Mobile has this Re-Boost program wherein the options to pay is either by phone, online or in person to your nearest Re-Boost location. You can use credit or debit card for a one-time payment or set-up an automatic payment (great feature! - so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to pay your bill, which may cause an interruption in service).
Anyway, if you are interested, you can check out their website because other than Blackberry, they also have phones like Samsung Rant and Samsung Seek. If you are a Motorola fan, they have the i1 and Bali phones. Also, don’t forget to check out their “pay as you go” plan. Let’s all Re-Boost and take control!

What In The World ?!
I don't understand what's going on with our internet connection. It seems like we're paying for some messed up service. What is going on with you "Clear"! Darn! I can't do a lot of things because I am using our dial-up service right now. Oh well, at least I have a back-up than totally no connection at all. That would have killed me coz I have opps to do! Better straight up "Clear" or you will be fired!

FaceVsion TouchCam N1
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of faceVsion Technology USA. All opinions are 100% mine.
Keeping in touch with family and friends are now much easier and enjoyable than ever. You can have coffee with you friends that lives across the globe using live webcam. They say pictures worth a thousand words. I guess seeing your loved ones through live webcam is worth a million. Seeing and talking to them in real-time is possible as long as you have an Internet connection and a web camera or generally known as webcam. Also, you need to download web-based video chat program and the most popular one right now is Skype.
Anyway, if your computer does not come with webcam, you can just buy it. Make sure though that when you decided to get one it is of high resolution and capable of streaming in true quality HD like FV touchcam N1, which you can find at faceVision on line store. Why FV touchcam N1? Because it is the first Internet streaming true HD webcam for Skype video calls. In addition, faceVsion is the world’s first Skype certified webcam. The installation is easy (plug-n-play). It has a chip that takes 720p video using high-quality encoding technology. It also features a best-in-class 78 degree super wide angle lens.
I remember one time I was chatting with my sister she was complaining that I look like a ghost and she can barely see me because my webcam has a low resolution and video quality. It would have been a much nicer experience for both of us if I have faceVsion TouchCam N1. It is not too late though. I can buy it www.shop.facevsion.com because right now they are having a back-to-school promo with $10 off any purchase (here’s the code if you too are interested - FVTBTS2). Don’t forget to check their FV ExpressCombo as well. I am sure that it is going to be one of the best tools you can buy this year. You can meet up with friends from anywhere in the world without leaving the comfort of your home.

Thank Goodness !
Finally, I don't have to take a cab on Monday. Hubby had a chance to fix the car, however, it is temporary which I don't really mind. He told me that I can only use it going to and from work and of course dropping off and picking up my son from school. He's basically telling me that I can't go anywhere I pleases to.

Experience Branson
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson. All opinions are 100% mine.
Come September 3rd, I am going to be attending our company’s annual ‘in-service’ meeting. I am sure that it will be a long day for all of us. I heard that last year, most employees are very antsy because the meeting was somewhat boring and a very long one. I was thinking, if the management would consider taking the meeting outside our facility, all of us would be more energetic and attentive. I mean, would it hurt if we go to another city, stay in a very nice but affordable hotel and have our once a year in-service meeting there? I guess it isn’t a bad idea, right?
We can stay close to home, you know. For example, in Branson, Missouri. One that might be a perfect place for us to hold the meeting and stay a night or two, is at Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing, which is conveniently located in the midst of the Historic Downtown. Or at the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. These hotels offer comfort and convenience to their guests. They have onsite dining area, swimming pool, whirpool, fitness center and more. Even pets are allowed in their hotels. Whichever the management chooses, I am sure we, the staff, will going to enjoy every minute of it because after the meeting, we could all explore Branson, Missouri has to offer.
I have been to Missouri a couple of times, but never visited Branson yet, so personally, I’d like to go to the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not and Titanic Museum, the unique theme park Silver Dollar City, and of course do a little shopping at the Tanger Mall Outlet.
Work and no play make us dull and gray. I am just thinking of mixing business and pleasure. We know that seeing something new is somewhat refreshing to our tired body busy brains.

Sleep, Sleep, Sleep
It's Saturday and what I plan to do all day is sleep, sleep and sleep! I am tired, have a little headache and just not in the mood to do anything. I've been sleep deprived for a few days now and I think it's finally catching up with me. I have tasks to do, but heck I can't think right when my brain says go to sleep. lol! So that's what I'm going to do. Later!

Direct TV By DirectSatTV
Last Friday, I was so upset because I missed part two of one of my favorite television shows. Why? Simply because it was raining here a little bit and we lost our satellite connection. Darn! That happens all the time even when there is just a slight wind or rain. I have been telling my husband that our current satellite t.v. provider is no good, not to add the outrageous cost.
I told him again and again to look for a new provider because football season is about to start and for sure, he would not want to miss a thing specially when his favorite team is playing. I have been lurking online and I think I would suggest for him to check either Direct TV’s Choice Ultimate or Choice Xtra packages. I also love the idea of possibly getting a top-notch Filipino channel from them. Yay!
Other than checking out the affordable Direct TV packages by DirectSatTV I also like the fact that they offer free HDTV for life. Why pay, if you can get it for free, right? These are enticing offers that I think, it’s very hard to say no to. Since there are strict government dish rules, DirectTV’s web specials for free professional installation will also come in handy. Us, as consumers need not worry whether we adhere to government’s requirements in installing satellite dish or antennas.
Anyway, I’m going to talk to my husband soon and see if we could agree on signing up for one of the Direct TV by DirectSatTV packages. That would be great just in time for my (and his) favorite television shows’ fall season. :)
Why Am I...
... still up when it is 4:40 in the morning already? I am not sure. I guess it's because my legs are bothering me. I can't explain it. I think it's what they call here in the U.S. the restless leg syndrome. I just took another shower moments ago thinking that it would relax me a little bit, but here I am still up blogging my b*tt away. Please let me go to sleep! I have to wake up at six in the morning and still have to go to work!!!

Sunflower Seeds
Oh my gosh! One of my co-workers introduced me to sunflower seeds three days ago and now I am so addicted to it! I feel like I am a bird eating up seeds lol! I didn't know that they have different flavors like Ranch, Nacho Cheese, Barbeque and I heard that there's even a Jalapeno flavor. I wonder what that tastes like. Frito Lay and David (?) are my favorite brands so far. I'm into eating BBQ and Nacho Cheese right now. I will try some of the flavors later on. :) Right at this very moment, I am actually enjoying the original flavor. :P

My Weekend
I had a pleasant weekend with my two boys. Last Saturday we went to Wolf Lake again so my little boy can ride his bike. I thought my hubby will still be teaching him again how to ride, but I was so surprised that he's riding his bike by himself. Hubby took a week off (last week) from work so he could give our son a little break from going to the daycare and I guess during those times, he taught him how to ride his little bike. Anyways, after he got tired of riding, we then went fishing. We did not catch anything this time. We did see little fish in the shallow water though. There's a lot of people barbecuing at the lake and it was smelling so good. Hubby ask me if I wanted to go home, get some stuff at the house, buy some meat to bbq and come back to the lake... I said, naahhhh! Though it sounded so much fun, I said I just wanted to go home and just relax, watch television and sleep. It was a bit hot for me that time and I was getting a little headache, I am a little bit tired. So we just went to Popeye's and got us a box of fried chicken, red beans and rice and mashed potatoes, then went home. On Sunday, I did not do much but washed clothes and sleep, internet, sleep, internet and more sleep. :)

Great !
I was absent again yesterday because I had to go to my son's school and enroll him in 1st grade (already) for the next school year. Then after the enrollment, I went out with my friend to go to her son's doctor's appointment... went to Burlington in Merrilville, IN... ate at a Chinese buffet (was so full!!!)... Today was a great day at work. Only six of our kids showed up (thank you very much :P) and we have additional new workers (people from one of the government's summer program)... it gave us a little bit of non-toxic day, which rarely happens :) We'll see how our day would go tomorrow... I bet it will be chaotic :)

Wow! I can't believe that it is the month of August already. My son's enrollment will be on the 11th and I am not sure if I have completed all the forms already. I have not even bought a single item from his school supplies list. still have time though. The first day of school is on August 23rd. Unbelievable! He'll be in first grade already. I'm getting old! Lol! Oh well... :)
