I Like, I Like

I am not sure if I posted in this blog how I liked the game Chocolatier (I think I posted it way, way back on my other blog). Since I liked it, I decided to buy the full version of Chocolatier 2. My new fave game, Ranch Rush is still the best for me though :) I finished the game already but still playing it to try to earn at least $500,000 per week.. so far I'm earning $46,000. I wish it's for real ehehehehe

Advanced Hair Color Collection DVD

I have been feeling a little sick for a few days now and I still am not done with Christmas shopping, as I don’t feel like going out due to the bad weather here in our area. I do not want my cold to get worst. The only person that I haven’t had any idea on what to buy is my friend Cheryl. I feel like she has everything already so I am having a hard time thinking on what to give to her. However, I did remember her say that she wants to go to a hair salon to have her hair colored. With that, I remembered about the Advanced Hair Color Collection DVD from videoshelf.com She would be able to learn different techniques in hair coloring. I am not sure if she is into hair highlights, but she will be able to learn several techniques from the DVD as well. That would save her some money because she can color her own hair whenever she feels like she needed to. She can do it maybe as often as she wants as I am sure the DVD has many great hair color ideas that she would like to probably try on herself.

The only thing I need to do right now is to get online and order the DVD. I still have time because we will be seeing each other maybe New Year or a day after New Year’s. Problem solved!

By the way, if you want to learn more about this Advanced Hair Color Collection DVD, check this out:

Winter Wonderfest (Navy Pier - Chicago)

These photos are taken a few days ago. It's Navy Pier's Winter Wonderfest. Nice place for the kids, however, my son was not with me because his daddy didn't want me to take him cause of the bad weather then. :( We will probably take him sometime before the fest is over.

Diamond Heart Jewelry

I’ve been seeing Ross-Simons Jewelry from one of my favorite home shopping networks and I’ve always admired them. They are all intricately beautiful. I did not know though that they have a website of their own. I only found out about it today from a friend. Of course, I visited their website and it wowed me cause they have a huge collection of jewelries! But the thing that caught my eye exactly is this - White gold diamond heart jewelry (picture shown below). It would be nice if I would get diamond jewelry like this as gift for Christmas (hubby should read this *wink*).

14k White Gold Open Pave Diamond Heart Pendant

Anyway, Ross-Simons' jewelry has been around for almost 50 years. Their customers’ satisfaction is their priority. They only offer certified diamonds at the best prices you can ever find, backed with a 30-day money back guarantee. Their jewelry specialists are available anytime if you have questions or needing help in shopping for jewelries. Their website is 100% secure so you do not have to worry about anything when you would like to shop for timeless pieces for either your moms, wives, moms-in-law or girlfriends or husbands, boyfriends as they have men’s jewelries too. I think this is a great time for you to do that as they are offering 30% off, plus free shipping. Check it out, I found some great pieces that are priced for less than a $100.00.

Winter

Winter sure started doing it's thing already. Hubby has been complaining as how icy the roads are lately. It hasn't snowed here as much but it's pretty cold. I like it when it snowing though, but that would sure keep me and my son in the house for a while. I don't want him to get sick. I heard that we are going to have a storm this coming Thursday and Friday. I hope it is not going to be as bad as they say on the news. Be safe people.

Another Good One From Dragon

Here is another great offer from Nuance, the sponsor of Dragon Naturally Speaking software. They are offering a 25% Discount coupon code. But before I give you the said code, please take some time to watch the video below that was created by one of our fellow bloggers who is very enthusiast about Dragon Naturally Speaking.

Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Basic with Discount Coupon Code

Press Release:

This is an excerpt from a white paper discussing how bloggers can earn more money through several different monetization and freelance writing services. It shows that bloggers that utilize Dragon Naturally Speaking can earn more money through these various services and how fast these extra earnings will pay for the software itself.
Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Blogger Break Even Analysis with Average PayPerPost Earnings

Basically, Dragon NaturallySpeaking can help you type so much faster, that you can earn a lot more money per hour.
In this article I'm going to walk you through another scenario focusing on how much extra you could earn if you wrote for PayPerPost.com and you had a single average blog. Now at PayPerPost.com, the amount of money that you earn for your writing is not paid on a per word basis.
PayPerPost.com offers up opportunities, they call them opportunities, but you can also think of them as piecework or a job, and these "opportunities" typically have a minimum word count. The minimum word count is typically 200 words for your average article. In general the average article at PayPerPost on a high earning blog pays about $8.3. Sometimes they pay a little less, and sometimes they pay a little bit more, and a few go to extremes on the positive side.
Now if you are paid $8.3 to write a 200 word article, then that breaks down to about 4.2 cents per word. That is about 6 times more than what you can make at textbroker.com. I mentioned that only for comparison purposes, because PayPerPost.com limits you to writing three articles per blog per day.
That means that you cannot write at PayPerPost all day long for your single blog. (If you have additional blogs, you might be able to write additional articles on those other blogs.)
Tip! – You can write your three articles at PayPerPost, write some additional articles without any sponsors in between those articles (as is required), and then write some articles at PayU2Blog, and when the work is exhausted there, you can write some articles at TextBroker.com! The trick is working for the company that pays you the most first, then moving on to the next highest margin provider, over and over again.
You will see in the case studies with Adsense that writing MORE articles is actually good for building traffic to your blog!
But if we assume, just to have a comparison to our textbroker.com example, if we assume that you could type articles at PayPerPost for fifty minutes straight, earning 4.2 cents per word, and you could type 35 words per minute, you could earn $72.88 dollars per hour at PayPerPost. Now obviously, you cannot take 9 articles on a single blog in a single day, but this does point to the rate at which you can earn things with the work that is available. That $72.88 would be the earnings you could make from about 8.8 Opportunities at $8.3 per Opportunity.
So bear with me again with this example. :-)
So what can faster typing skills do to help you earn more money at PayPerPost?
Well if you could type at 150 words per minute with Dragon NaturallySpeaking, and you currently type at 35 words per minute, then you could earn about $239 per hour more! (Dragon only costs between $99 and $199 remember!)
Reminder - This would assume that you could type articles nonstop at a hundred and fifty words per minute for fifty minutes. For most of us, that doesn't mean a whole lot.
But to put this in better perspective, if you earned $72.88 from writing about nine articles, and those articles were each 200 words long, then you would have written a total of 1800 words.
• 1800 words can be typed and 50 minutes at 35 words per minute
• 1800 words can be typed in 12 minutes at 150 words per minute
Dragon NaturallySpeaking can essentially save you 38 minutes when you write nine articles.
Now with those additional thirty-eight minutes, you can spend more time:
• promoting your blog,
• networking with people,
• researching other projects,
• taking on other work from other networks
• build up a new blog to command $8.3 per article!
• Go write some articles for PayU2Blog
• Go write some articles for TextBroker
• Go write some articles to bring in more traffic and earn more money through Adsense!
You can pocket your $72.88 from twelve minutes worth of work. You can then spend the rest of that hour, working to ensure that the blog you publish those on performs very well. But the point is this, Dragon NaturallySpeaking can save you so much time, that it will pay for itself very quickly.
Your average part-time blogger will easily pay for Dragon NaturallySpeaking with the additional profits that they would earn from using Dragon NaturallySpeaking in less than 1 hour worth of blogging through PayPerPost alone. :-)
Plus just think of all of the time, that you would now have to make yourself and your site even more successful!

Here it is folks!

Fun and Funny

As I have mentioned in my earlier post that I have a new WAH gig :) It's easy, challenging at times, fun and sometimes funny. I do transcription. I transcribe audio into data files. I am not sure if I am allowed to divulge any information about their company so I am not gonna do it. :)

Some audio are really fun to do because of the content (sometimes funny :D) and also I have already encountered different accents, which are very challenging at times. There are also instances that I can't understand a word of what they are saying cause either they speak so fast or they just woke up and are slurring their words. I am still trying to get use to it. Other than that, it is a pretty easy gig. Hopefully I will surpass this probationary period.

ArtFire.com

I am not a very crafty person but one of the things I like to do when I am not too busy with my at home jobs is to do needlepoint projects, particularly cross-stitch. I have several finished projects sitting here collecting dusts. My husband said that they are pretty detailed and beautiful that I can sell it and get a decent amount of money. The problem is, I am not good at selling stuff. I always say that I cannot even sell a candy to a child. He said I can always find websites that can help me sell my work, and true enough I found one. The website is called ArtFire.com. It is like an interactive community for artisans and crafters of all types. They are free for artisans and users who wish to buy, sell and interact. Here are some good reasons why ArtFire.com is suitable for crafters: (1)Your products will be all over the world wide web (2) subdomains, custom shops, stats etc are what the sellers get (3) basic sellers can sell up to 10 items at a time with 4 pictures free of fees (4) artfire.com plants a tree for every new member. So, for crafters out there who are interested, visit ArtFire.com for more details.

Top Ten EC Droppers

Hello folks! I'd like to thank those people who dropped their ECs here. I would post your links here when I get the chance. I'm just too busy as I got myself another WAH job and I am still trying to get a hang of it. Once I am used to the sched and everything, I will be back to blogging. Again, thanks for all the EC droppers. Will return the favor soon.

Tactical Knives

We are just two weeks away from Christmas and up to this time; I still cannot think of a nice present that I could give to my husband. He said I do not have to bother. He did not want anything. I checked some of the websites that I love and I have seen some electronic stuff that he might need, but it’s gonna take a big dent on my wallet. So, I decided to look for something that is more affordable and yet he would use all the time. Then I remembered those 5.11 Knives that I saw from lapolicegear.com and made a decision that I will get him one of those. He can sure use it during emergencies, or when he is working in his garage, and when we go camping. Lucky me, because they are offering free shipping for any purchase of 5.11 knife.

Another Win For Pacquiao!

I just found out that Manny Pacquiao won against Oscar de la Hoya. I could have watched this dream match but I opt not to because these two pugilists are my favorites. So I did not watch it because I'm torn between the two. Anyways, I'm just happy that Manny won and on the other hand, sad for Oscar. :( Will be watching the replay on HBO when they start showing it. Congratulations Pacman!

Holiday Eyeglass Frames Collection

Later today, my friend and I will be going to the big “W” store to have her daughter’s picture taken. My plan while we are there is to go to my eye doctor. I have been planning that for quite sometime but I never get the chance at all. I wanted to have my eyes checked because it has been a while since I had it looked at. Hopefully, I’d remember asking them my prescription because I wanted to buy new eyeglasses. That too, is long overdue.

I mentioned so many times in my previous posts about the $8 prescription eyeglasses from ZenniOptical.com and I intend to get one from them. I really do, because I do not want to pay another $300 for a pair of eyeglasses. Your $300 can buy more than five pairs of eyeglasses from ZenniOptical. I would like to take advantage of their affordable, stylish and fashionable frames that comes in either titanium, aluminum alloy, stainless steel or full, half, rimless. In fact, I just recently browsed their Holiday frames collections and they are awesome! People would think that you paid a fortune for it for the reason that they are gorgeous. Here are some of my favorites in their collection of holiday frames:

Our Thanksgiving

Hi Everyone! How was your Thanksgiving? I had a pretty tiring but wonderful Thanksgiving here. I roasted turkey as usual (cleaned and seasoned it the night before). Then for side dishes, I made some macaroni and cheese, chicken and garlic flavored rice, mashed potatoes, corn, greens (mustard greens my fave), sweet potatoes, we also had sweet rolls and sweet potato pie. My mom-in-law celebrated Thanksgiving with us. She brought the corn bread dressing, more mac n cheese, and her special peach cobbler (yum yum!). I probably gained 20 pounds from eating hahahah! After dinner, we sat down and watched a movie. After the movie, my MIL and hubby helped me put the kitchen in order. Then, hubby decided that it was too late for his mom to drive home so he just convinced my MIL to spend the night. By the way, my hubby’s niece was supposed to have dinner with us on Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, she was not able to make it. She made it on Black Friday however. That’s another story though.
