For Michael Phelps Phans

Last night I almost forgot that it's Michael Phelps guest appearance in Saturday Night Live. Thankfully I was watching Law & Order on NBC and saw the advertisement. Wew! Almost missed it again. Anyways, here are some of it. I like the spoof of the T-Mobile commercial. :)

I Missed It!

I posted yesterday about how I can't wait to see Charise Pempengco on The Oprah Show. Heck! I forgot about it and slept my butt till 1o:30 in the morning. Darn! Good thing Oprah is gonna be re-aired a bit later around 11:00 CST :) That one I'm not gonna miss :)

P.S. Forgot to mention... Michael Phelps was on Jay Leno's show last night.. thanks to my hubby :D

Oprah's Season Premiere Week

I woke up so early that I got the chance to watch the season premiere of The Oprah show this morning. Her guests today, of course, my fave Michael Phelps, Nastia Lukin , Dara Torres and over 175 Olympic Stars of the Team USA! It was awesome! Can't believe I missed it. It was held in Chicago's Millennium Park, which is like 20 minutes away from where I am. Darn! By the way, David Cook was there also.

Tomorrow, her guest is gonna be Charise Pempengco. As they said, her dream comes true right before our eyes. Can't wait for that! :) Watch the sneak peak at Oprah.com.

Michael Phelps Is Here !

Yup! Michael Phelps is here... not in my house though ehehehe. He's here in Chicago (technically, I don't live in Chicago anymore, but still feels like it cause I'm 10 steps away from it :d ) Anyhow, Phelps is really here as well as the 150 or 175 american athletes from the Beijing Olympics. They are gonna be on the Oprah show that is why. Oprah gave them some kind of welcome back party. I know Phelps is gonna be here but don't really know when, and found out on the news that they arrived today. He even gave a surprise visit in one of swimming classes in the west side of Chicago. Heck if I only knew, I would have dragged my husband to see him in the dowtown Chicago :)

Michael Phelps On SNL

Can't wait for that! Just heard on the news that Michael Phelps will be hosting Saturday Night Live on September 13th. Yey! I Wonder if he'd be nervous :) Also, he'll be in Chicago very soon. I didn't catch when though. I will be doing some research on that. As much as I want to have a glimpse of him, I can't... hubby will have a fit hahaaha!

Michael Phelps On The Cover

When I first saw this cover on Inside Edition, my mind immediately thought that I am gonna post an entry about it. So here it is, Michael showing-off his 8 gold medals. Incidentally, this pose was somewhat copied from Mike Spitz's when he won 7 gold medals in the 1972 Olympics. Somehow it's like a nice tribute to him. :)

Michael Phelps Made History !!! (Eight For Eight)

Michael Phelps, an american swimmer, went to the Beijing Olympics with one goal in mind; to win 8 gold medals in a single Games. Tonight, he just made history! He was able to accomplish his mission. He surpasses Mark Spitz, also an American swimmer (retired) who is best known for winning 7 gold medals in the 1972 Munich Olympics.

I was watching Michael as if I am his mother. Cheered and held my breath till I saw the result on the t.v. screen. Wew! I got to hand it to his three teammates too; coz Michael’s last swim is the medley relay. It was an amazing race. Eight for Eight! Yey! Lucky number eh ;)
